Bring your dates

Choose a calendar (.ics) or a Dates backup (.json). Review it here before adding anything.

Simple events only: name, start, end, place and notes, with a stable event ID. UTC, floating and all-day dates supported. Repeating events, named time zones, invitations, alarms and extra fields are rejected. See file limits and supported fields.

Help with dates

How do I move dates between calendars?

Export calendar downloads an .ics file for you to open in another calendar. Export backup keeps a Dates .json copy. Choose either file above to preview and restore it here. Files stay on this device; there is no automatic sync or connection to a booking service.

Which times and files work?

UTC is an exact worldwide time. Floating times have no time zone and keep the same clock reading wherever they are opened. All-day dates have no time zone. An all-day end is the first day after the event; leave it blank for a one-day event.

This small importer accepts VCALENDAR version 2.0 with PRODID and optional Gregorian CALSCALE. Event fields: UID, DTSTART, SUMMARY, DTEND, DTSTAMP, LOCATION and DESCRIPTION. UID, DTSTART and SUMMARY are required. Missing DTSTAMP is set to the import time. Other properties and parameters are rejected, including recurrence, TZID, VTIMEZONE, METHOD, STATUS, CREATED, LAST-MODIFIED, SEQUENCE, TRANSP, organizer, attendees and alarms. A rejected file is not partly imported. Export a simple UTC file from your source calendar or add its dates by hand. Keep the original file.

Maximum file size: 1 MB. Maximum saved dates: 1,000. Back up regularly; browser storage can be cleared or unavailable. Imported files may include private notes, so review them before sharing an export.

Delete this date?

Export a backup first if you want to keep a copy.

Reset saved dates?

This replaces the unreadable Dates data with an empty workspace. Download the original first if you need to keep it. This cannot be undone here.
