Five minutes a side · an MC keeps the clock
The Coliseum
The Coliseum. The trade argues about the same handful of things in every room on the planet -- deposit or door split, who owns the live recording, whether ten spots go to the highest bid or the best fit. Put the question on the floor, take a side, say your piece under your own name. Five minutes a side. An MC keeps the clock -- SkyHigh's own trade.
The floor
The house
Three tiers. For on the left, against on the right, listeners between, the MC at the front. Sit where you actually sit.
How a motion runs
- A verified profile posts a motion. Anyone signed in can take a seat.
- One seat per person per motion: for, against, or listening.
- A position is short -- the desk sets its length -- and it sits under your own name.
- Five minutes a side. The MC opens the floor and closes it.
- Counts are shown the whole way through. A closed motion shows its final counts and stops taking seats. That is all a result is: a count of seats, never a verdict.
